These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Accrewal’s website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Services”).
The Services are operated by Wekno Technologies Limited (“Accrewal”, "the platform", “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16933458), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Accrewal.
1. The Platform
Accrewal is a platform designed for the watersports industry. It enables individuals to log and track their watersports experience, and enables clubs and organisations to verify activity, manage members, and share or promote opportunities.
Accrewal acts as a neutral infrastructure provider. We do not employ users, endorse opportunities, or act as an agent for clubs or individuals using the platform.
While we may facilitate interactions between users and clubs, we are not a party to any agreement formed between them.
2. Eligibility and Account Structure
To use the Services, you must be at least 13 years old.
Users aged 13–15 may only use the platform with verified parental or guardian consent. Accounts in this age range are not activated until consent is confirmed.
All users, including individuals and clubs, access Accrewal as “users” of the platform. Clubs are organisational users with additional functionality but remain subject to these Terms and the platform’s control.
Clubs may accept, reject, or manage members within their own context, but they do not have authority to remove a user’s access to Accrewal itself.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts where necessary to protect the integrity, security, or proper functioning of the Services.
4. User Content
Users may upload and submit content to the platform, including activity logs, images, profile information, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by using the Services, you grant Accrewal a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process this content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
We will not use your profile images, logos, or personal content for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content is accurate and lawful.
5. Opportunities and Listing
Accrewal may display opportunities submitted by users or clubs.
All opportunities are user-generated content. We do not verify, guarantee, or endorse any opportunity, club, or individual listed on the platform.
We may, where applicable, promote or prioritise certain listings, including those that are sponsored or paid for by users or clubs. Such promotion does not constitute endorsement or verification.
Any engagement between users and opportunity providers is solely between those parties. Accrewal is not responsible for the outcome, safety, quality, or fulfilment of any opportunity.
6. Platform Neutrality and Disputes
Accrewal remains neutral in relation to disputes between users and clubs. This includes disputes relating to:
- logged experience
- verification decisions
- opportunity participation
- or any other user-generated content
We do not act as an arbitrator or adjudicator in such disputes and are not responsible for resolving disagreements between users or clubs.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or interferes with the operation of the platform.
In particular, you must not:
Provide false or misleading information Attempt to bypass security systems or access unauthorised data Upload content that is abusive, illegal, or infringes third-party rights Misuse the platform to manipulate verification or opportunity systems
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.
8. Enforcement and Suspension
We apply a tiered enforcement approach to violations of these Terms.
Depending on the severity of the issue, we may issue warnings, restrict certain features, suspend accounts temporarily, or permanently terminate access to the Services.
We aim to act proportionately, but we reserve the right to take immediate action where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the platform.
9. Payment
Certain features of the Services may be subject to payment.
Payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as Stripe, Apple, Google or equivalent systems.
All fees are clearly displayed prior to purchase.
Except where required by applicable consumer law, payments are non-refundable. Where appropriate, we may offer refunds at our discretion.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to Accrewal.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Services without prior written permission.
11. Third Party Services
The Services depend on third-party infrastructure and services, including providers such as Vercel, Supabase, and PostHog.
We are not responsible for downtime, errors, or failures caused by third-party systems.
12. AI and Automated Systems
We use automated systems, including services provided by OpenAI, to support moderation and platform safety.
These systems may flag or restrict content, but all enforcement decisions are reviewed by human oversight before final action is taken.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Required by law
- Necessary to protect users or platform integrity
Where possible, we will provide notice before termination.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of data, opportunity, or reputation
- Actions or content of other users or clubs
- Outcomes of any opportunity or interaction facilitated through the platform
Our total liability in connection with the Services is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
15. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users via the platform or email.
Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
